Thank you for your interest in our Tasting Cellar. With its rustic "Old World" wine cellar ambience, it is the perfect place for you and your family, friends or business associates to gather for an unforgettable meal. The Tasting Cellar is available for parties of 10 to 32 people, depending on the type of menu you choose and the time of year.

Our tasting menu is a six-course meal paired with five wines. The chef creates a menu around seasonal game, fish, and fresh fruits and vegetables to which wines are expertly paired by our sommelier. The tasting menu can be priced at $75, $85, or $100 per person, (not including tax or tip) depending on the types of food and wine you choose. With advance notice we will accommodate your dietary requests if possible.

The Tasting Cellar can also be used as a private dining room where your meal is a selection of items off The Cosmopolitan's menu. You can select 2 or 3 choices each of appetizer, entr̩e and dessert; your guests are then able to order their meal from a limited menu. Wines can also be selected in advance-typically one or two red and whites. This meal tends to fall in the $55 to $65 per person range (not including wine, tax or tip).

A third option is our "Family Style" dinner. This type of meal is a lot of fun, and a little more casual and interactive for your guests. Large platters and bowls of food are served to each table, allowing your guests to pass them around and serve themselves. The type of food you choose can be ethnic in theme (an Italian or Asian menu, for example) or you can choose items off the Cosmopolitan's menu to be served in larger portions. Wines can be selected in advance. This menu is typically $50 person (not including wine, tax or tip) but price is entirely dependent on your food selections.

And, finally, you may wish to have a cocktail party with a selection of passed appetizers. You may request specific appetizers yourself or the chef can create an appetizer menu for you. Cocktails, beer and wine can be pre-selected or the guests can order whatever they wish; you would be charged based on actual consumption.
